Le Case di Mario (Mario's Houses) is a two-house complex characteristic of the local architecture of Viareggio ("La casa Viareggina).
Casa Mario dei Pini is a spacious two-storey house accommodating up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms and a sofa bed in a second lounge. It has 3 bedrooms (all with air conditioning), 2 bathrooms (1 with bathtub), 2 lounges and a nice little patio garden for summer barbecues and “al fresco” dinners.
La Casetta di Mario is a traditional local cottage accommodating up to 4 people, 2 in a bedroom and 2 in a large sofa bed in the lounge. It has a bedroom and a lounge (both with air conditioning), a bathroom and a nice cosy patio garden for barbecues and dining outdoors.
They are located in Viareggio, the summer resort renowned for its beaches and nightlife on the Northern Tuscany coastline, 20 km from Pisa and Lucca and 100 km from Florence.
Placed on a quiet street within walking distance of the main facilities, including the railway station and an important bus stop, it provides the ideal base to explore and enjoy Tuscany up to the Cinque Terre, Firenze, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena and the less known inland treasures of historical villages and small towns.
The majestic beauty of the Apuane Alps mountains and the Mediterranean feel of the Migliarino-San Rossore coastal park are just a stone's throw away.
Whether you want to relax on the Viareggio beach or explore culture, food or nature, The Houses of Mario provide the perfect base for getting to know beautiful Tuscany.
These two houses are where my family has lived for generations, and Mario was the name of my father to whom this project of hospitality is dedicated.
The two houses are completely separated and independent, but by unlocking an internal gate we can combine them and be able to host groups of up to 12 people.

A Family Thing
Le case di Mario were supposed to become the family home for my own family, but life brought me to live elsewhere, in Bristol- England.
Hospitality is managed by a passionate team of dedicated people all very close to my family,who are committed to ensure to our guests an enjoyable and memorable stay.

Le Case di Mario are in Viareggio, on the west cost of Northern Tuscany, surrounded by some of the most stunning and culturally attractive places in Italy
Their closeness to the beach and to the main facilities and transport, makes it an ideal place to base yourself in the area.
